Facebook Video Downloader

Paste a Facebook video or reel link and the video appears here, playing, a few seconds later. One button saves it as an MP4 in HD. Free, no sign-up, no watermark.

Works with

Faster: in any link, change facebook.com to toohottopost.com and press enter.

Save what you have the right to keep: your own posts, work you have permission for, or content its owner shares for reuse.

To download a Facebook video, copy its link (Share, then Copy link, or the address bar in a browser) and paste it above. Public videos, reels and Watch links all work, including facebook.com/watch, /reel/, /videos/ and fb.watch short links. The video loads with its cover, title and page name, so you can check it is the right one before saving.

You get the MP4 files Facebook itself stores for that video: HD when the uploader's video has it, plus an SD copy that is smaller and quicker on mobile data. "Sound only" gives an MP3 made on your own device from the video, so it is the sound exactly as you hear it. Private videos, videos in groups and posts shared only with friends cannot be read, because we never ask for your Facebook login.

How to download a Facebook video

  1. Copy the link

In the Facebook app tap Share under the video, then Copy link. On a computer, open the video and copy the address from the browser bar.

  2. Paste it here

The video appears in one to three seconds with its cover, title and page name, playing, so you know it is the right one.

  3. Save the file

The big button saves the best MP4, usually HD. The SD copy and "sound only, MP3" sit under it.

  4. Find it on your device

iPhone: Files app, Downloads folder. Android: the Downloads folder or your gallery. Desktop: your browser's downloads.

What you can save, and what it cannot do

  • Public videos and Watch videos

Anything anyone can open without logging in, from a page or a public profile.

  • Facebook Reels

Links with /reel/ in them, saved as a vertical MP4.

  • Short links

fb.watch links and links copied from the app work the same as full addresses.

  • HD and SD

Both copies Facebook stores, when the uploader's video has an HD version.

  • The sound as MP3

Made on your device from the video, so it matches what you hear.

  • Not private or friends-only videos

We never ask for your Facebook login, so anything behind it stays unreadable.

  • Not videos inside groups

Group videos, even in public groups, are usually only shown to members.

  • Live videos only after they end

Once the replay is published on the page, paste its link like any other video.

Getting the right link from the app

In the Facebook app, Share → Copy link gives a link that works here. If you do not see Copy link, open the video full screen and tap Share again, or copy the address in a browser. On iPhone, Safari saves the file to Files → Downloads; open it there and tap Share → Save Video to put it in Photos.
